Starland Matador Paint Kit
===========================

This package contains the paint kit in both .PSD (Photoshop) and .pspimage (PaintShop Pro) formats. The kit was built in PaintShop Pro. The .PSD file was exported for compatibility with Photoshop and Gimp.

The file contains several layers, meant to be used in combination.

The background layer is a texture alignment guide that you probably wont use for anything.

The next few layers are for the body color. You should only have the desired color visible when preparing your paint.

Above the door layers is the roof layer. This is used to make your car two-tone. When saving your texture file for the body, make sure one of the body color layers is visible. If you want a two tone car, paint the color intended for the roof on the roof layer and make sure the body and roof layers are both visible.

The door layers are primarily provided as an alignment guide for painting logos and text on the doors. Each door layer covers both the front and rear door on the appropriate side. Make sure when saving the doors for import that one of the body layers is visible also. Even though the non-door area is not visible on the car, having alphas in the output will cause the doors to have an alpha layer in them, with unpleasant results.
